30x60 Ceramic Wall Tiles for Wholesale and Export 300x600 mm ceramic wall tile, factory direct from Ardakan

IR-Build presses, glazes and fires 300x600 mm ceramic wall tile at Ardakan, Yazd, and supplies it to importers, distributors and contractors by road, rail and sea. It is the works' volume line: around 40 to 50 designs in white body and red body, in matt and glossy finishes, at the lowest cost per square metre of any format we produce.

At 0.18 m² a piece, 30x60 is quick to handle, quick to cut around sanitary ware, and tolerant of a wall that is not perfectly true — the reason it remains the standard specification for bathrooms, kitchens and refurbishment work where a large format would expose the substrate rather than cover it. Where a floor-rated tile is needed, the desk will confirm which models carry it.

What Are 30x60 Tiles?

30x60 refers to the nominal face size in centimetres: 300 by 600 millimetres, or roughly 12 by 24 inches. It is a wall format, and at IR-Build it is produced as a ceramic tile in white body and red body — not as porcelain. The distinction matters when you are specifying: ceramic wall bodies have a higher water absorption than porcelain and are made for vertical, interior use rather than for floors, terraces or frost exposure.

Where a project needs a porcelain body in a comparable design, the range starts at 60x60.

The 300x600 range runs across marble, stone, concrete and plain colour graphics in matt and glossy finishes, in both white body and red body. White body carries light colours and marble prints more cleanly; red body is the economy option where the glaze is dark or heavily patterned. Every model below is in current production. Available Finishes and Designs

Glossy surface

Glossy Ceramic Wall Tiles

The standard wall finish. A fired gloss glaze reflects light back into small rooms, which is why it remains the default for bathrooms and kitchens in the markets we ship to. It cleans easily and shows water marks less than a matt surface at the same colour. Available across most designs in both bodies.

GlossyWallWhite bodyRed body
Matt surface

Matt Ceramic Wall Tiles

A through-matt glaze for a flatter, more contemporary wall. Reads closer to plaster or stone than a gloss surface and is more forgiving of uneven lighting. Available in selected designs; ask the desk which codes carry matt in the colourway you need.

Marble vein

Marble Effect Wall Tiles

Veined graphics in white, bone and grey families, printed on white body so the ground stays clean under light colours. At 300x600 the vein repeats more often than on a large format, so ask for a layout sample if the wall is a feature rather than a background.

Marble effectWhite bodyGlossyMatt White Bone Grey
Stone / cement

Stone and Concrete Effect Wall Tiles

Stone, travertine and cement graphics in the neutral families, mostly matt. Used where a wall has to read as a material rather than a colour, and where the same design continues from a wall onto a floor in a larger format.

Stone effectConcrete effectMattNeutral
Plain colour

Plain Colour and Decor Tiles

Single-colour fields with matching decor and listello pieces, for layouts where the pattern is in the arrangement rather than the print. Brick, stack-bond and vertical layouts all read correctly at the 1:2 proportion.

Why Choose 30x60 Tiles?

01 Lowest cost per square metre

The entry price of the range. On a project measured in thousands of square metres — residential blocks, refurbishment, mid-market hospitality — the format decision moves the budget more than the design does.

02 Forgiving of the substrate

A 600 mm edge with a normal joint absorbs a wall that is out of true. The same wall under a large format would need levelling first, which adds a trade and a week.

03 Least cutting waste around fittings

Bathroom and kitchen walls are mostly obstacles: pipework, sockets, sanitary ware, niches. A small module cuts around them with a fraction of the waste a large panel produces, and the offcuts are usable.

04 Every layout reads at 1:2

Brick bond, stack bond, vertical and herringbone all work at this proportion without looking stretched. The pattern can carry the wall where the budget does not allow a feature graphic.

Applications of 30x60 Tiles

30x60 is a wall format. Its natural place is any interior vertical surface where the budget matters, the substrate is imperfect, or the wall is full of obstacles — and it covers those faster and cheaper than any other size we make. Some models are floor-rated; the datasheet says so per code, and the desk confirms the approved list against your room schedule. Nothing in this size is rated for frost or outdoor exposure. Where a floor or an exterior surface is in the same specification, move to a porcelain format.

Bathroom and Shower Walls

The core application. Glossy for light return in a small room, matt where the wall should read flat. Cuts cleanly around sanitary ware and pipework.

Interior walls

Kitchen Walls and Splashbacks

Wipe-clean glazed surface behind hobs and worktops, in plain colour or a stone graphic. Small module suits the run between worktop and wall units.

Interior walls

Utility and Service Rooms

Laundries, plant rooms, stores and back-of-house corridors, where the wall has to be washable rather than seen.

Interior walls

Refurbishment and Renovation

Tiling over an existing imperfect wall without levelling first. The most common reason a specifier chooses 30x60 over a large format.

Interior walls

Residential Projects at Volume

Apartment blocks and social housing, where the same two or three codes repeat across hundreds of units and the price per m² drives the specification.

Interior walls

Selected Floor Use

Only in models whose datasheet confirms a floor rating and an adequate abrasion class. Confirm per code — most of this range is wall-only.

30x60 Tiles for Wholesale and Export

Supply is factory direct — the works quotes, produces, packs and loads. 30x60 is the highest-volume format we ship, which affects how it is quoted: the piece is small, so a container carries a large number of cartons and reaches its volume limit before its weight limit, the opposite of a large format. Compare quotations on the price per square metre delivered, not per carton.

Minimum order quantity depends on the model, the body, the design and the destination, and is stated on the quotation. Mixed loading of several designs in one container is straightforward in this size provided each model reaches its own MOQ. Distributors holding stock should tell the desk the shelf quantity at the first enquiry so a single shade batch can be reserved.

Why Source from Iran?

Ardakan sits on the clay and feldspar belt north of Yazd, which is why the ceramic industry settled here and why the raw material for a wall body does not travel far before it is pressed. For a high-volume wall tile, where the material cost is a large share of the delivered price, that proximity is the whole argument.

Add to it a works that has fired continuously since 1998, three million square metres held in the yard, and road and rail routes into the neighbouring markets that no sea shipment can match on transit time.

Packaging, Container Loading and Delivery

30x60 is packed in cartons, palletised, strapped and shrink-wrapped. Because the piece is small and light, this size loads by volume rather than weight — a container fills before it reaches its payload limit, which is the reverse of a large format. Pieces per carton, square metres per carton, gross and net weight and pallets per container are model specific and appear on the packing list of every quotation.

30x60 is the cheapest way to cover a wall, but it stops at ceramic. Where the same specification also has floors, 60x60 is produced in all three bodies including porcelain. For a matching utility floor, 40x40 is the economy square. Where a wall wants a large-format proportion without a porcelain body, 40x120 is the only large format we press in ceramic.
